I’m Joost!

Illustrator, designer and comic maker.

I’m Dutch born, but grew up in the west coast of Scotland. I’ve been making art for just over 4 years, but meddled with Photoshop as a hobby for 4 years prior. I initially wanted to be a graphic designer when I started my Vis Comm course. I had, and still have a real love for poster design in film and fiction. But that quickly changed, gaining more of a focus on my drawing and illustrative skills. In the past four years my work and style has changed and improved drastically. From a very colour focused psychedelic style, to grey scales and hatching. What has been a constant has been my passion for line work.
